The WW Jones Ranch comprises 291.479 acres located in the Paluxy River Valley. The home was built in 1873 and includes a 30x60 barn with covered storage. This site was close to the town of Paluxy on the Paluxy River. The dinsosaur is now at the Fort Worth Museum. It took 16 years for students, faculty, staff, and volunteers from Southern Methodist University to uncover, clean, and mount the pieces on view.
